Vocal Expressions

Vocal Expressions is a welcoming and friendly ladies choir based in Holmfirth, West Yorkshire. Led by Musical Director, Nicola Mills, and accompanist, Lloyd Buck, the choir rehearses each Thursday evening in Holmbridge. As well as performing at our own concerts, we enjoy singing as guests of others; at fundraising events, weddings and private functions.
We have an extensive and varied repertoire including both sacred and secular music, ranging from classical to contemporary.

Most of all we just love to sing.

Two Choirs One Voice

Joint concert with New Mill Male Voice Choir on Sunday 26th July at Holmfirth Picturedrome.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our concert with New Mill Male Voice Choir. We had a fantastic concert alongside New Mill Male Voice Choir on Sunday, performing to a full audience. It was wonderful to see so many people there, and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of singing for you all.

We're also delighted to share that, thanks to our raffle, we raised over £700 for Support Dogs, this years charity! Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and helped support such a fantastic charity.

Good news

Each year Vocal Expressions adopts a charity to support. The choir has chosen for 2026/27 - Support Dogs, an independent charity based in Sheffield which trains and supplies support dogs to people with disabilities to help them live fuller more independent lives.
