Please come along to our Christmas concert which is at St Paul's Concert Hall in Huddersfield on Saturday 6 December at 6.30pm. We are being joined by Lindley Junior School Choir, which requires no introduction. Also, our very own accompanist and highly talented pianist, Lloyd Buck, has some treats in store.
CD Launch and Bake Off - 08 October 2015
Choir members and invited friends heard the new CD 'Expressions from the Heart' at a special event at Holmbridge. The launch involved members competing in baking cakes which illustrated a track from the album.

The next opportunity to see the choir perform is on Saturday 11 October at Holmfirth Parish Church, where they will be sharing the stage with the Band of the Yorkshire Regiment in a concert to raise funds for both the Regiment Benevolent Fund and Help for Heroes.

Penistone Music Festival - 26 September 2015
Hurrah! We won the Donald Booth Trophy gaining distinctions in both our pieces, 'Here in my Heart' by Sarah Quartel and 'Let's Face the Music and Dance' by Irving Berlin.
Many, many thanks to our inimitable leaders Robert and Lloyd.
Macmillan Cancer Support presentation
Chair of Vocal Expressions, Jane Doherty, was thrilled to present a cheque for £1330 to Gerry Beaumond of Macmillan Cancer Support, proceeds from the hugely successful and enjoyable 'Face the Music & Dance' evening of song and dance. Thanks are also due to the Round Table who ran the bar and local businesss in Holmfirth who so generously donated prizes.

The choir joined Hade Edge Band for a very entertaining concert at the Civic Hall. The Expressionettes were seen for the first time at a local concert.

Vocal Expressions are thrilled to be welcoming the men from St Buryan's near Penzance to a concert at Gledholt Methodist Church beginning at 7.30pm. The concert will feature a light and jazzy selection from the ladies - we await the men's items with baited breath but we are sure they will be wonderful.
