On Saturday 14th June Vocal Expressions enjoyed performing at the Holmfirth Arts Festival Big Weekend and taking part in the pageant. Among the songs we performed to an appreciative audience in Holmside Gardens was ‘Holmfirth People Love to Sing’ which had been specially written for the Festival by Charlie Wells. Nicola Mills, our opera singing MD, was also very much in action, wowing the crowds with her pop-up ‘Opera for the People’ performances all weekend.
